with angular contours designed by Thierry Mugler. The designer wanted each bottle to be made by hand, like a work of art. Manufac-turing the Star Collection, the first Angel bottle (75ml), proved to be quite a challenge. Some believed it would be impossible. Not the Brosse Master Glassmakers...
they then developed a revolutionary glassmaking technique. The master glassblower places a 320-gramme ball of melted glass in the oven, which he then pours into a custom-made star-shaped mould. Rotating the mould allows the glass to be distributed evenly and most importantly, gives it its unique quality.

it is flame-polished, matted with a pumice stone and then hand finished on a felt wheel. In 1992, the first bottles were ready just a few weeks before the launch of Angel.
a star-shaped glass bottle, cut like a diamond with mysterious facets that glitter like a kaleidoscope of emotion; an icy, pure blue colour... Thierry Mugler's dream became a reality. Better yet, it inspired the designer to create new versions of the bottle, in 25ml and 50ml sizes, which were inspired by the Star Collection's silver cap.
